I have come with my husband to Pune from Lucknow in the end of 2009 for the purpose of the job. I found it is a calm and beautiful city. So I have passed many years peacefully here. I found that it is dream place of India. Everything is good here.  I want to talk some features about Pune.

Its previous name was Puna. The metropolis is famous for the exceptional Maratha king Shivaji Maharaj. Pune was once the first capital of Shivaji Maharaj.
It is the birthplace of him. It is in the Indian kingdom of Maharashtra. It is also the birthplace of nonsecular instructor Meher Baba. Mula and Mutha named two rivers in Pune. It has a major Information Technology (IT) center. Pune is managed by the Pune Municipal Council. People said that it is an Oxford of the east. The homeland of education is Marathi. Marathi is Pune’s Mother tongue.  But they also know Hindi too. They speak English also. The Badminton game is invented here in the 19th century. We knew it as Puṇyanagara which is come from Sanskrit word. 

 It having extra than hundred instructional institutes and 9 universities. Students not only from different cities and States come here to study,  international students from more than a few countries are also located here. 

 Pune was once the first capital of Shivaji Maharaj. There are many historical places like Shaniwar Wada, Lal Mahal and many museums like the Aga Khan Palace, Raja Kelkar Museum, National War Museum, etc. 

 Here the climate is very good and balanced. The local weather of Pune is appropriate to dwell in. Tulsi Baug, Kesari Wada, etc famous for shopping. Bhel-puri and Wada Pav are famous foods here.


The principal appeal of the city is the Ganesh pageant which is celebrated with fantastic joy, this is due to the fact the humans of this city are co-operative. There are many reasons for Pune town to be favored by way of everyone. This makes Pune a city of many cultures and communities.

It is one of the safest cities in India. You can roam freely in nighttime on the streets of the town except for any fear. Girls driving back to their home safely and fearlessly on their Activa after watching the ultimate exhibit for the day at a multiplex or an auditorium is very frequent in Pune.
