We pray to God to exhibit mercy to us and help us in life’s grim struggles and misfortunes. How can we expect God to answer our prayers when He sees that we are blind to the sufferings of the hungry, the sick and the handicapped? One exact flip is worth a hundred prayers.
Father Damien became a leper in the provider of lepers. He spent his whole existence looking after a colony of lepers. Ultimately, he died of leprosy. What a shining example of heroic self-sacrifice! That is the way to obtain God’s grace.

The social carrier is a duty. From start to death, person man goes on receiving matters from society. He is in debt to society. it is truly his duty to attempt to pay up this debt, to return what he had obtained, of course, the debt is so heavy that it can in no way be entirely paid up. The social carrier is a way of giving back to society a tiny element of what one has taken from it. The world is full of poverty, disease, and suffering. There are opportunities for social provider everywhere. To increase a fallen man is a social service, to assist a historic girl out of a bus is social service to take a blind man throughout a street is social service. Such acts put sunshine into a dark life.
There are many inspiring examples of social and humanitarian service.
It lifts us out of our petty selves. It elevates our minds, hearts, and spirit. It is non-secular training. It makes our lives richer and fuller. It offers us profound spiritual satisfaction and makes us genuinely and truly happy. There is no greater happiness than the happiness that comes to us through the happiness of others.
